The Viktor Awards are considered to be the most prestigious recognition for the creative work in the field of media, especially television, and for outstanding achievements in popular culture. Every year the awards are presented at the traditional ceremony known for its glamorous character and unique acts. The reputation of the Viktor Awards is undoubtedly great as well as the desire to be part of this important event. The show, the voting and the selection are organised by Stop magazine under the patronage of the company Delo Revije, d. d.
Popularity Viktor Awards are selected by the viewers, readers and listeners who send in the voting forms and text messages, on the other hand the expert Viktor Awards are chosen by the Viktor Academy. Its members are experts from various fields and connoisseurs of the Slovene media scene, therefore they could also be called Slovene opinion leaders. Eight expert Viktor Awards are selected by the 44 members of the Viktor Academy.
